Fish fry caught by bladderwort (JPEG)
A very rare microscope slide of immature fish (trout?) caught in the vacuum-like bladders/traps of the Bladderwort plant, Utricularia.
Horizontal field of view = 11 mm.
The slide was prepared in December 1917 by F. W. Chipps and was subsequently owned by J. G. Bradbury; two well-known amateur microscopists of that era.
