Bee parasite (TIFF)
Heavily parasitised by mites, this Early Bumble Bee (Bombus pratorum) was eventually driven from the nest by it's kin. It lingered around for a couple of days, repeatedly trying to gain entry to it's former home, but to no avail. It died soon after. The mites have been collected and sent for identification.
