Potty training time (JPEG)
An extremely rare, if not unique, "carte de visite" in as much that two images have been glued to a standard sized (103mm x 67mm) blank card. This is exceptional, because carte de visites are usually photographs printed directly onto a thick, photosensitive base. I can provide no further information about this item, because the back of card is blank. However, given the yellowing, which is similar to what I have seen before, I suspect it is Victorian ...and kinda cute ...do you not agree? The reason why someone would want to introduce themselves by presenting such a card, is anyone's guess. This leads me to suspect that it was produced for distribution to family and friends only.
