Gynandromorph - Morpho menelaus (TIFF)
A rare mosaic gynandromorph of Morpho menelaus, being a mostly male butterfly with the right forewing showing some female markings (brown colouration and double row of white spots).
Captured June 1992 in Obidos, Para State, Brazil, this butterfly belongs to the subspecies hubneri. Wingspan=103mm.
