Included here are full-sized, sensor-shift high resolution shots taken with my new Olympus OM-D E-M5 mark II camera and 60mm f2.8 macro lens. The camera was mounted on a copystand, the lens manually focussed, and illumination was provided by fluorescent ringlight. I could have improved on these by employing focus-stacking (particularly for the butterfly photo) - but I think you'll agree that the resolution that this camera provides is stunning! Rumour has it, that the successor to the top-of-the-range Olympus E-M1 will enable one to use the high resolution mode while hand-holding the camera - I cannot wait!
The images are for personal use only, and you can download the full-resolution photos by clicking on the images below with the left mouse button first, and then again with the right mouse button.
The download files are large - so please be patient!
